Hi everyone, i am back with a new blog today. Before starting my blog i just want to ask you something that which is the fastest thing you know rather than Bugatti Veyron. I think that your answer will be Speed of light, yes actually speed of light is the fastest but ever since the sound barrier are broken, people have turned their attention to how we can break the light speed barrier. But ‘’warp drive’’ or any other term for faster than light travel still remains at the level of speculation.
Before moving forward i want to put some light on ‘’warp drive’’. It is a fictitious faster than light spacecraft propulsion system in many science fiction works, most notably star trek. A spacecraft equipped with warp drive may travel at speeds greater than that of light by many orders of magnitude.
There are many ‘’absurd’’ theories that have become reality over the years of scientific research. But for the near future, warp drive remains a dream. Science fiction writers have given us many images of interstellar travel but travelling at the speed of light is simply imaginary at present, and they are thinking for warp drive which is faster than speed of light.
A warp drive would manipulate space-time itself to move a starship, taking advantage of a loophole in the laws of physics that prevent anything from moving faster than light. A concept for real life warp drive was suggested in 1994 by Mexican physicist Miguel Alcubierre, however, subsequent calculations found that such a device would require prohibitive amount of energy.
Now physicist say that adjustments can be made to the proposed warp drive that would enable it to run on significantly less energy, potentially bringing the idea back from the realm of science fiction into science. There is hope, ’’Harold’’ Sonny’’ white of NASA’s Johnson Space Center said here at 100 year Starship Symposium, a meeting to discuss the challenges of interstellar spaceflight.
An Alcubierre warp drive would involve a football shape spacecraft attached to a large ring encircling it. This ring, potentially made of exotic matter, would cause space-time to warp around the starship, creating a region of contracted space in front of it and expanded space behind. Meanwhile the starship itself would stay inside a bubble of flat space-time that wasn’t being warped at all.

So that all about today, i hope you must have found today’s topic interesting. You can tell your suggestion’s on warp drive by commenting it in the comment section right down there. And if you want that i must write on a particular topic you can even comment that, i would surely write the next blog on your suggested topic.
